Customer Background
A brand owner selling under a strict visual identity needed self-inking stamps whose shell color matched the brand — a generic stock color was not acceptable for a product that would carry the brand into retail.
Customer Requirement
Shells produced in the buyer’s specified Pantone color, with brand logo printing and packaging to match — a fully color-coordinated OEM product.
The Challenge
Custom color is where OEM projects most often go wrong: a shell that matches the Pantone reference in the office light but not on the shelf, or drift between the sample run and the mass run. The fix is a physical color confirmation step that cannot be skipped.
Our Solution
We matched the buyer’s Pantone reference at the material stage and produced sample shells for confirmation before any logo printing or assembly began. The approved sample shell then became the color standard kept on the line for the full production run. Custom-color shell production runs from 500 pcs under our OEM program.
Production
Colored shells went through the same moulding and assembly flow as our standard range, with logo printing applied after the shell color passed confirmation.
Quality Control
Final inspection covered both the standard checks (mechanism, impression, appearance) and the project-specific ones: shell color against the approved sample under inspection lighting, logo registration and packaging print.
Result
The order shipped with shell color, logo and packaging matching the confirmed samples.
